Digital video format in components (segmented) without compression, created by Quantel based on Format D-1. It uses a 3/4 “(19 mm) Cassette, the only difference with the D-1 is that the recording system used is not 25 or 30 frames per second, but records 24 frames per second, thus This format is perfectly integrated into the Quantel Domino (Digital Opticals for Movies) system for film postproduction.
