SMPTE standard that establishes the rules for video and audio transport. It should be carried out through two independent and identical networks for redundancy (Seamless Protection Switching).
Normally we speak of the blue network as the main one and the red network as the redundant one, although since they are identical networks that carry the same information, the equipment can transmit through one or the other indistinctly.
