Two-layer network architecture: the main layer or Spine layer and secondary layer or Leaf layer, to which the devices or Endpoints are connected. Every switch in the Leaf layer is interconnected with every switch in the Spine layer.
It is a very standardized network architecture and used in most data centers for its ease of growth.
