TSA contributes to Canal Sur Televisión for the broadcasting of Holy Week 2019 in Málaga and Seville

Once again this year, Canal Sur Televisión broadcasted live the Holy Week 2019 in Málaga and Seville, this time using the services of Telefónica Servicios Audiovisuales.

From Palm Sunday to Holy Saturday, Canal Sur Televisión offered a live broadcast of the processional parades on the official routes from Málaga and Seville, allowing special moments from Holy Week to be followed as they happened, such as the traditional Traslado de El Cautivo in the vicinity of the Civil Hospital of Málaga, the enthroning of the Christ of Mena in Málaga, and “La Madrugá” (the dawn of Good Friday) in Seville.

Telefónica Servicios Audiovisuales was responsible for providing the live signal from the Campana in Seville and the Alameda Principal in Málaga to the production centre of Canal Sur Televisión through the MPLS network encoded into MPEG2 for signals in standard definition SD, which allowed viewers to follow the live broadcast of Holy Week in these two Andalusian cities.
