Telefónica Servicios Audiovisuales (TSA), has been awarded the signal transport service for Movistar+ Champions League channel.

After being awarded a new two-year contract, TSA establishes the signal transport circuits for Movistar+ Champions League channel.

A total of 11 HD and 2 UHD signals (with codecs such as H.265/HEVC and Dolby Atmos among others), are sent through point-to-point optical fiber, with CWDM wavelength multiplexing technology, from the origin in Barcelona to the DTH, OTT and IPTV headends control centers of Movistar+ in Tres Cantos and Simancas (Madrid). The monitoring and control of all signals are carried out in Tres Cantos NOC, TSA’s network operations center.

For this purpose, TSA relies on Telefonica´s Customers Private Networks Supervision National Center (CNSRPC), from where the management of fiber connectivity is carried out, which offers proactive monitoring, with automatic and manual tools for the links lifting, guaranteeing the maximum availability of the service.
