TSA at Football Summit 2024: Designing the Future of Sports with IP Infrastructure

Telefónica Servicios Audiovisuales (TSA) participated in the prestigious “Football Summit 2024” event, held in Brussels. This internationally renowned event has brought together prominent leaders and experts from the football industry to analyse the opportunities and challenges in production systems, the evolution of European media rights, and the application of new technologies to increase fan engagement.

The Football Summit 2024 gathered football experts and enthusiasts on 29 February 2024. During the event, the latest trends and challenges in television and online coverage of the sport were explored.

As featured guests, Ana Collado Jiménez, Project Manager, and César Bermejo Guerrero, Key Account Manager, from TSA presented the case study “Design of an IP Media Infrastructure for the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium”. In this presentation, they explained to the attendees how their experience and technology development have significantly contributed to providing an unforgettable experience for the 85,000 fans who fill the stadium at each match. This project has been key in the entertainment of football events, concerts, and more, establishing a cutting-edge production environment prepared for any challenge.

Among the distinguished speakers who shared their vision and knowledge at the Football Summit 2024 were the Director of Sky Sports, the Director of Technology at FIFA, the CEO of the Saudi Pro League, and the CTO of Mediapro.
