The IX edition of the 4K Summit was held in Malaga from November 13 to 16, and took place, as in previous years at the Digital Content Pole, with the presence and participation of TSA this year in its first day of face-to-face mode.

The event, of international projection, which brings together content and technology related to 4K-HDR ultra definition, was held this year in two face-to-face days on 13 and 14 November and two online on 15 and 16 November.

This latest edition has had 40 speakers from up to 19 countries who have addressed the latest developments in the implementation of ultra high definition, and more than 450 attendees who were able to participate in the various sessions, as well as in the demonstrations of manufacturers in the facilities.

Asier Anitua Valluerca, Business Development Manager at TSA, has been in charge of giving the vision of the integrator in these aspects. Thus, he has exposed to the audience the important leap that many broadcasters are already undertaking to move from the SDI world to IP broadcast video in 4K, mainly in IPSMPTE 2110, a transition in which TSA is a pioneer.

In his presentation, he also discussed remote and hybrid production in 4K, as well as the large investments that are being undertaken in Spain at the level of virtual studios and XR in 4K and even 8K, in order to become a major audiovisual HUB.
