TSA, awarded at the 2025 AV Audio-Visual Integration Awards for its technological project in the healthcare sector
The company has been recognised for its key role in the integration of an advanced infrastructure that enables the application of artificial intelligence to the medical sector.
The 5th edition of the AV Audio-Visual Integration Awards has recognised Telefónica Servicios Audiovisuales (TSA) in the category “Other”, which honours unique projects that stand out for their transformative impact and exceptional technical quality. The award-winning project, has been developed for Idoven, a deeptech startup specialising in the healthcare field, which uses AI for the analysis of electrocardiograms.
Idoven Project
The recognised initiative involves the supply and integration, in collaboration with Telefónica Empresas, of a state-of-the-art technological infrastructure based on NVIDIA DGX H100 servers and Mellanox switching, hosted in the Telefónica Data Centre. This solution is designed to train generative AI models that can detect cardiovascular diseases at early stages with an accuracy equal to or greater than that of a cardiologist. The network infrastructure ensures ultra-fast communication between components, and a private cloud with multiple layers of security that complies with healthcare and data protection regulations.
The NVIDIA servers, a global benchmark in accelerated computing, allow Idoven to drastically reduce the training time of its diagnostic models, improving iteration, performance and the reliability of the results. The system also features 24/7 monitoring by specialised technical staff to ensure its optimal availability and performance.
Technology at the service of society
The “Other” category brought together unique proposals with a high level of technical specialisation, and the jury particularly highlighted the disruptive approach of the project integrated by TSA. Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death worldwide, and this initiative demonstrates the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in the service of society and, in particular, medical diagnosis.
This recognition consolidates TSA’s position as a strategic technological partner in high-demand sectors such as healthcare, moving towards a more efficient, precise and preventive model, evidencing its ability to lead innovative projects that drive the development of technology to improve people’s lives.
