EITB Media is launching a project to increase its production resources at the Bilbao headquarters, through the commissioning of Telefónica Servicios Audiovisuales (TSA) for the supply, integration and commissioning of a Sony XVS-7000 video mixer, intended for the recently built Studio 3.

With this implementation, the Entity aims to standardise the studios at its sites, maintaining the same brand and model of mixer as those already in operation in Bilbao and Miramon. This decision ensures easier, more flexible and consistent use for users, avoiding the need for additional training for technical and operational staff.

The new mixer is made up of the same components as those acquired in previous phases, including, among others, SDI input and output cards, transition modules, modular control surface, and specific software such as the Multi Program 2 or the base Virtual Shotbox software. All mechanisms and components required for interconnection and assembly will be included in the supply.

In addition to the new equipment, the provision of professional technical services has been planned for the commissioning of the system at the Capuchinos site in Basurtu, Bilbao. This service includes the full on-site configuration of the mixer and the upgrade of the remaining five Sony mixers already in place in Bilbao and Miramon to their latest available version.

The contract includes a two-year warranty period starting from commissioning, during which technical support will be provided. This service includes incident management, fault resolution, replacement or repair service, and supply of spare parts.

With this action, EITB Media continues to strengthen its technical infrastructure for audiovisual production, adapting its capabilities to the current needs of the sector, and ensuring efficient and consistent operation in line with its existing systems.
