Telefónica Servicios Audiovisuales moved its headquarters from Ciudad de la Imagen, after more than 20 years at this location.

In mid 2018 Telefónica Servicios Audiovisuales moved its headquarters from Ciudad de la Imagen to three new destinations: Movistar+ facilities, in Tres Cantos, where all the operation and development services are carried out, the Armuña Satellite Centre,  in Guadalajara, where satellite services are offered, and Telefónica District, where the engineering department dedicated to the integration of systems, sales and other staff is located.

At the Movistar+ facilities in Tres Cantos, TSA has all its operation and development staff to provide services from the Control Centre areas, where it is possible to monitor, route and control all the services provided and, also, Multiplatform Services from where it offers channels playout and OTT, IPTV and streaming services for Spain and Latin America. From the Armuña teleport, with 25 hectares and a built area of 12,000 square metres, it provides satellite uplink and downlink services with multiple satellite platforms and a presence in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and America. The TSA facilities are completed by the Telefónica District, where the systems integration team carries out turnkey end-to-end projects in the broadcast area and the audiovisual sector, going one step further, with this moving, in its integration within the Telefónica Group.

This change provides Telefonica Servicios Audiovisuales with greater synergies within the Group, better operational capabilities and more robustness in the services offered to clients, which translates into a greater availability and level of service offered to clients.
