Serial Digital Interface Standard for transferring digital audio and video signals through a BNC coaxial cable, data is transmitted and received sequentially, in series, one behind the other.

It allows the transfer of video signals in 10-bit components, and 20-bit audio, these signals are multiplexed (linked) with more information such as time code, framing color, self-diagnosis, etc.

The audio can be embedded in the video allowing you to enter up to sixteen digital audio channels that are protected in the middle of the video signal.
