Great attendance to II TSA Executive Breakfast in Peru

Last Wednesday November 13th, the II Executive Breakfast organised by Telefónica Servicios Audiovisuales in which important audiovisual providers collaborated and the main TV channels of the country met up, took place at the Miraflores Hilton Hotel.

With almost 30 attendees from the main broadcasters in the country, the II Executive Breakfast of Telefónica Servicios Audiovisuales in Peru, put together the chief managerial positions of companies such as Latina TV, ATV, Panamericana, Bethel, Canal del Congreso or Media Networks, among others. The meeting brought to the attendees the main audiovisual and broadcast trends, news and technologies.

The event was inaugurated by the host company, TSA, with the speech relating to “The DTT Monetization” held by Asier Anitua, Latin American manager at Telefónica Servicios Audiovisuales, regarding the need for television services modernization who raised the issue about how to make the most out of the technology of the future, monetization, and not only by advertising and an analysis of trends in other countries.

Alejandro Couto, Sales Manager of South America at VIZRT, showed listeners “How to tell better and greater stories” thanks to the brand’s graphic, automation and media management solutions, also explaining Vizrt’s new global situation after the NewTek purchase, with which both of them follow separate ways but offering the same common front focused on the customer.

On his part, VSN Sales Manager for Latin America, Alfonso Vázquez, discussed how “The content hubs, the future of content distribution in the Broadcast and Media industry” consider important new challenges in the broadcast world, such as multi-platform systems, security or automation of operations. He also focused on the trends of different countries in the region such as Mexico.

Additionally, Sony with its Senior Systems Manager, Daniel McDonald, delved into the “Intelligent Media Solutions to capture, manage or deliver its content, adding value in each stage” where he provided an interesting vision of where the technology of the future is going, related to service mode with special focus on the cloud and SaaS.

To conclude the event, Javier Martínez, deputy director of TRedess detailed “The keys of operational savings” focusing on optimized energy efficiency in the DTT development, a process in which Peru is currently immersed, and in the different solutions to achieve it.

With this Breakfast, TSA achieves a support in its cooperation with the large providers of the audiovisual sector thanks to an event that has allowed clients to see first-hand the main advances presented at the last IBC fair in Amsterdam.
