The Universiy of Salamanca (USAL) trusts Telefónica Servicios Audiovisuales (TSA) for the supply, delivery, installation and training of a new set for virtual audiovisual production.

With more than 800 years of history, being one of the oldest and most prestigious study centres in Spain, the University of Salamanca is looking to incorporate audiovisual content for the centre’s language certification. The project includes the installation of a room with advanced technology for the creation of virtual environments, augmented reality and educational recordings. This space allows the creation of audiovisual content for language exams and certifications in San Bartolomé building, managed by CIUSAL.

This set is equipped with a chroma key panel, lighting suitable for high quality captures, camera, high sensitivity and low noise microphones, ergonomic furniture and a workstation with Brainstorm’s specialised virtual production software Edison Pro. This software with TrackFree technology allows the creation of advanced 3D graphics with real-time rendering, scene building, interactive effects, shadow simulation, virtual camera movements and files direct import in formats such as PPT, PDF or OBJ, for the integration of objects and augmented reality in real time. In addition, the system integrates with different platforms such as Zoom and YouTube, with the possibility of including live remote characters in virtual environments.

Finally, in order to guarantee the success of the project and a better customer experience, TSA includes a month of unlimited training at the University’s facilities, along with a 3-year support service and warranty.

With this project, TSA is once again committed to innovation in the service of education, supporting the University of Salamanca in its commitment to the modernisation of their educational resources.
